About the author:

John Wallace Stephenson, longtime church planter and pastor, was a missionary to South Africa with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. He is well acquainted with grief, having lost his first wife and daughter in a car accident. He has written a book and a number of pamphlets on grief: Through Tears to Triumph, Helping a Friend Who Is Hurting, Questions Children and Adults Ask about Death, Scriptures for Coping with Grief, and What Grievers Can Expect.
